Origin:
- ca. 1650. Hohlbein-style, who was a famous designer of that time. Characteristic are the many ornaments on the handle showing detailed Ritter scenes, ornaments and flowers.
- Blade:
- High carbon steel (C55), hand-forged, well-tempered, hand polished, with one groove each side, not on same opposite side. (Scheeler Degen). Hardness ca. 48-52 HCR Rockwell.
- Dimensions: ca. 93 x 24 x 0,5 cm.
- Balance point (measured from guard): ca. 16 cm
- The blade and the tongue are made in one peace. It goes to the top of the guard.
- Empuñadura:
- Sólido latón con un acabado pulido.
